The Ultra Chain Grab is made of 316L stainless steel. There is no need to lean over the pulpit to attach the chain grab to your chain - its unique design allows it to be easily attached or removed from a taut chain rode above deck. Its spherical dish hooks onto the anchor chain and when tensioned stays attached as it passes through the bow roller. Upon retrieval the Ultra Chain Grab simply applies the forces of gravity to disengage from the anchor chain.
